Greetings my fellow Didnappers, and happy holidays!
As some who have been active in Didnapper's Discord chat may already know, I've been busy lately first with things like exams (which so far seem to have gone pretty well), then with helping out at home where my mom recently had a rather big scheduled surgery.
Now luckily some of the RL workload and such is lifted, and so I'll get back to working on the game when I can. I'm very happy to say that while I've been largely inactive this past month, other contributers haven't.
That means that I now have quite a lot of material to work with and catch up to, which I'm very grateful for!
I still stand by my personal goal of having the next CB ready for the end of January, and I intend this to be the last v1.7 CB-release before the official one.
This next CB will include the 7th and 8th mission (updated amazon mission + the new Florian mission). The story scripts for these missions are done, and maps and character graphics are mostly done. That means that the majority of work left is the overall implementation of the missions' coding, which greatly lies on my own shoulders.
We also hope to include some new content and features, such as for example Carol and Athena in the Private Cell.
I'd like to give a special shoutout to ImilianArticuno (story script) and A-Wild-Stargazer (graphics and music) who have been working like heros while I've been busy, and I hope to do their work justice when I implement it.
I'd also like to thank all of you players who have shown such a great interest in the project! This group just passed 1000 watchers, and the v1.7 Demo 3 version has now passed 16 000 downloads (excluding the latest patch file), so really:

About the Recent Management Changes
Hey all, Prologue here.
As Kendrian (https://www.deviantart.com/kendrian)'s previous update announced, there have been some changes to the team at management level. Nothing alarming, mind you, so feel free to put down your pitchforks now.
So, what's happening to Ken?
Ken has been (and will continue to be) the main developper for game. However, he has been juggling too many roles, which led to late nights and way too much coffee for the human metabolism. After a couple days of discussing how to fix these problems, he decided (without being coerced) to redistribute his management-oriented roles in favour of being able to focus solely on, you know, making the actual game. Staff changes
So, first off, for those who haven't been able to keep up with things on our Discord server, we've had some changes in staff lately.
Long story short, BingBingBing/star (the main artist and co-founder of DID Games) has gone on indefinite hiatus to battle a serious illness.
She is going to keep me updated on her condition, but otherwise she will stay offline and focus 100% on her recovery.

Didnapper 1 v1.8.2 update
Greetings!
For those not active on our Discord server, this might come as a bit of a surprise, but today we have a Didnapper 1 update for you!
The update was mainly meant to fix the Private Cell glitch for Android where the characters don't show up, which has been something that's been an issue for a long time now, but we decided to throw in some more things while we were at it :)
